There are a number of stacking settings you can configure in the Daily Fantasy Fuel optimizer, which we'll cover below.

Step 1:

Select the teams to include in a QB/WR stack. With premium membership you can select multiple teams to be eligible for your stack, whereas the free account is limited to just one stack per build.

The teams are color coded base on implied points scored (derived from vegas lines and odds). Teams projected to score above average are in green, teams below average are in red. You generally want to stack players in high scoring shootout games to maximize potential opportunity.

Step 2:

Move down to the 'Stack Adjustments' section (note, this section is only available for premium subscribers)

It's here where you have several options available to customize your stacking rules.

Option 1: Stack QB with 2 WRs

Click on this to make the optimizer always stack 2 Wide Receivers with the selected QB. Use this setting when you are narrowing in on a few teams that you think will have very big games, where stacking multiple players becomes the optimal strategy.

In 2024, a QB double-stack won the DraftKings Milly Maker in 8 out of 18 weeks (44% of Milly winners used some form of double stack strategy).

Option 2: Stict Stack:

When you turn on this setting it will prevent any other players from that team from appearing in your lineup. This limits variance and avoids potential negative correlations from creeping into your lineup.

For example, in a QB/WR/WR double stack, you would not want that teams running back to be added to your lineup. This prevents the RB or a TE from that team from being added (which will dillute your strategy).

Option 3: Add a Bring-Back player from the opposite team

Click on this to ensure at least one skill player from the opposite team is included in your stack. You can select which positions to include in your bring-back eligiblity, if you want to leave out TEs for example and just focus on WRs or WR/RBs (depending on the situation)

In 2025, a massive 72% of Milly Maker winners had a bring-back player in their winning lineup (13/18 weeks). The strategy around this is that in high-scoring shootouts, the other team is not just running out the clock and doing nothing. They will be aggresive and throwing/running the ball to catch up. So having a player from the other team maximizes the game script.

Option 4: Set a max exposure level for each team stack

Click on this to set a limit on how many lineups you build from each selected team. Without this setting, even if you select 10 teams to stack, certain ones might dominate and end up filling the main share of your lineups.

For example, if you setup a 5 team stack, setting max exposure to 30% means you will at the very least get 4 teams in your build (assuming 150 lineups). Setting it to 20% means that you will get all 5 teams showing up evenly in your build, since no team can make up more than 20% of your 150 lineups.
