How does Daily Fantasy Fuel come up with draftkings NHL Projections?

Hockey is one of the most volatile DFS sports there is; however our NHL DFS Projections models have been backtested against 5 years of historical data. We look at a number of factors, including ice time, powerplay time, and vegas odds. Other factors like whether teams are playing back-to-back, and previous head-to-head matchup stats also go into our projections.

Can I get downloadable draftkings NHL Projections in CSV format?

Yes! Just hit the link up top labelled 'Download Projections as CSV' to start your download. This will save a CSV file to your computer that you can edit in excel, notepad, or google docs.

How often do you update your NHL Projections?

We tend to update our hockey projections every few hours, with more frequent updates leading up to the start of nightly slates. Typically projected lineups get published on twitter in the mornings, which is when we do our first major update to all our projections.

What kinds of NHL contests are most popular on draftkings?

The biggest NHL action on draftkings happens on Tuesday nights. Our projections are built for the classic 9-player roster contests, which are the most popular by far.
